Richard H. Lee Duffs An Easy Shot Not Once, But Twice
The 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass was one to forget for poor Richard H. Lee, as he whiffed twice in a row during the Players Championship.
Lee first used a wedge on the edge of the green. Nope. He switched to a putter. Double nope. Lee finished the hole with a double-bogey.
The worst part about golf is that when someone screws up as badly as Lee, there's nothing to do but stare intensely at the ball, hoping that enough frustration might somehow fuel an unbuilt time machine which could be used to correct such a fuckup.
