Since I actually have a chance at being one of the first commenters, let me submit the following two observations about the game.

1) I've taken hangover shits that weren't nearly as filthy as Adam Wainright's curveball last night. Had Joe Morgan (circa 1969) been playing, he would have called that pitch a "motherfucking curve."

2) The shot of the Met fan with tears running down his cheeks holding his son who was also crying was touching...but what the fungus, New York?? The Mets won their last title a mere 20 years ago...We Cub fans have been suffering for almost a fucking century now...I think any fan of a team not named the Cubs, Giants or Indians has no business crying at a baseball game. Piss poor.
