I admit it--like Unsilent Majority, I too watch American Idol. But, the main reason I've watched this year is that I went to high school with Taylor Hicks. He graduated a year behind me (I'm 30). He's the youngest gray person I've ever seen--the dude was going gray at 14. Kinda freaky. At any rate, I hope he wins--he's a hell of a performer and definitely deserves it. Although I'm fine if Katharine wins as well, because, you know...she's freakin' hot.

If George Clooney's excrement came to life....Taylor. Ta Da. since he's the most marketable one (CD of oldies covers is on the way), he'll most likely win. A solo Chris would be too george michael. the other guy could possibly, but not goofy enough. And I have a hunch Simon is going to start American Senior Idol next season, and Taylor is an experiment of sorts. But all it really means is young girls are in desparate need of a father figure, I can't see any othe reason why this guy is liked by the viewers. He's about ABOUT as good as the crack ridden losers that go to this bar on Thursdays for Karaoke. Commence the complaints about this not being a sports related story. But you guys do dabble a bit in the pop culture, which is cool. Especially the 80s/90s baseball stuff.
