Glad to see that Will has included the 11-16 age demographic in the comments section. I'm surprised no-one has suggested the "Twister" - two fingers up the nose, left big toe in the belly button, right pinky toe in the ear, and four in some variation of pink/stink/ink/drink/whatever. The only Redick picture I've seen of the 'obscenity' is definitely a Rorschach test - people see in it what they want. In reality, there's not much chance he's doing an already passe college hand gesture. I watched the Sportscenter segment on his poetry, and he specifically struggled to find something to rhyme with "I'm not much of a shot blocker/ but I'm smooth like Paul Walker/ People are surprised at my jumpshot/ they call me the... uh, Impressor".

from what I understand from my time in prison and in Johnny Weir's Torino boudoir, there is a "gay" version of the shocker: all five fingers are extended then curled into fist. Many athletes demonstrate their "gay shocker" technique during games. Keep your eyes peeled. I believe the sports world first witnessed it on the medal stand in the Mexico City Olympics, the original global display of "gay shocker power".

Look no further than Whichita State, who is actually nicknamed "The Shockers". They had a game televised on ESPN2 over the weekend and everytime they showed the fans or cheerleaders they could all be seen giving the shocker hand signal. I guess those prudes at ESPN don't know what it means, because if they did I can't imagine they would let it be shown over and over again on their channel.
