The outstanding gentlemen at We Are The Postmen attended the Kentucky Derby last weekend, hanging out on the infield and meeting all kinds of fascinating characters. They produced this excellent video about the experience. Our favorites are the Cardinals fan who understands the connection between his team and hard liquor, the lady with the blow-up doll on the Slip n' Slide (really) and, uh, the man lying on the ground in a moment of, oh, we'll call it weakness.
Fantastic work, Postmen. We love this stuff.

I have been to the Preakness 6 times and never in the grandstands, only the infield. Some of the best times i have ever had. I have never seen a horse.

horses at the preakness? Those are the harsh chicks from dundalk who have manes so large, the jockeys get confused.

They were on the infield all day and that's the best footage they got? No arrest footage? No drunken rednecks fighting each other? No naked boobies? Sigh...
Dont worry Vito. hopefully someone will do the same at preakness and it will perk you right up with plenty of ample bosom and drunken fisticuffs.

I live in Louisville, I've been on the infield, and I think the "show your tits" chanting usually starts at 1 o'clock or so in the 3rd turn. It looked like you were in the 3rd turn for the Derby, so maybe it was more tame this year. I shouldn't complain...If I had a camera with me when I went, I wouldn't have had a prayer of walking out with it.
The Derby infield is nothing more than a holding cell, only you have to pay to get into it. It's spectacular. At the 2004 Derby I actually saw a girl walk into a stall in the men's room and then immediately saw a guy scale the wall of the stall to get a free look. He moved so quick his momentum pushed him over the wall into the stall. Only in Kentucky...I think, or no?
